I write
code.
I’m Saurav, a final-year student from Pune. I mostly write backend code in TypeScript and NestJS, and I’m learning Go right now. I’m also building valve, an outbound rate limiter for Node.js with shared API budgets and per-tenant or per-recipient limits.

Things I’ve built
Two of these were client work, the rest are mine. Each one has its own page where I go into what was actually hard.

valve
A Node.js library that keeps your workers under the same API limit, with separate limits per tenant or recipient.

Sharing an Outbound Rate Limit Across Node.js Workers
Four workers with an 80-request limit can still send 320 requests a second. How shared Redis budgets, queues, and provider cooldowns keep outbound API calls under control.

Rooting My Projector After We Forgot the Remote
A missing remote led to a persistent Go server on an Android projector, an OEM backdoor, and a phone-controlled player backed by NetMirror and an anime aggregator API.

A WhatsApp Cloud API integration for a fitness CRM: tenant onboarding, credential boundaries, queued sends, and delivery analytics.

§06 about me
About
I like understanding how the things I use actually work, and a few of my projects started that way. I rooted my projector so I could run my own server on it. And while building a WhatsApp API integration into a client’s CRM, I kept running into outbound rate limits, so I built valve.
Most of my work is backend TypeScript with NestJS, Postgres, Redis and job queues. I’m learning Go now, and I’ve started trying out Rust.
I learned the most when a more experienced developer reviewed my code every day. So I’m looking for an internship on a small team where I can work on real features and get regular feedback on my code.
§07 get in touch
Hiring an intern?
I’m looking for a software engineering internship. Email me with a bit about your team and what I’d be working on. If you just have a question about something on here, that’s fine too.
